Nicky is Joey’s brother. He repairs and restocks vending machines and always hooks his buddies up with expired snacks, He rides a Harley and lives with his family next to Bova’s bakery.
Viola Vermacelli
Viola sells Wet & Wild Make up and does makeovers. She and Joey were wet and wild for five years but he broke up with her four months ago.
Anthony Cavatelli (Father of the Bride)
Tony is Maria’s doting father. He dreams of being a ‘Wise Guy’ once, but the powers that be, didn’t deem him mob material.
Angelina Cavatelli (Mother of the Bride)
Mara’s mother truly loves her daughter and sees to it everything is okay with her dress, shoes etc. She has Gucci tastes but doesn’t work and has no desire to get a job. She is opinionated and doesn’t like Joey’s family.
Netta Gnocchi (Mother of the Groom)
Joey’s mother is very proud of him and thinks he will be the ‘Great Provider’ for Maria and their kids. She’s worried Maria won’t know how to take care of Joey.
Mama “Nonna” Cavatelli
Nobody knows how old Nonna is, but one thing is for certain, she is old. She knows ever thing that goes on in the neighbourhood.
Carla Mari (Bridesmaid)
Carla likes to drink. She’s been left at the altar before. She’s hoping to marry Alfredo.
Luisa Ravioli (Bridesmaid)
Louisa does hair and makeup for dead people at a funeral parlour and likes to make her customers look famous. She did up Maria and the bridesmaids for the wedding.
Tina Tubettini (Maid of Honour)
Tina is Joey’s cousin and Maria’s good friend. She is a tour guide and dreams of starting her own company “Tina Tubettini’s Tours”
Rhonda Rigatoni (Bridesmaid)
Rhonda is Maria’s cousin. She fancies herself as a beauty queen, but hasn’t ever entered a pageant
Gabby Gnocchi (Flower girl)
Gabby is Joey and Nicky sister. She is not too thrilled at having to be all dressed up. She’d rather be hanging out with her friends.
Pastor Fasiolo (Pronounced Fazool)
Father Fasioli is the pastor at St Paul’s Parish and grew up with Joey and Maria. He is not sure if he should have taken the vow of celibacy. He has heard confessions that would shock a Jerry Springer viewer.
Mikie Macarone (Groomsman)
He’s a wheeler-dealer businessman. Always trying to sell you something.
Alfredo Fettucine (Groomsman)
Fredo is a painter and decorator. He thinks he can be famous as other Italian designers.
Romeo Cavatelli (Groomsman)
Romeo is Maria’s brother, he is a very sensitive young man!!
Gino Gnocchi (Junior Groomsman)
Gino is Joey, Nicky and Gabby’s brother. He’s a teenager. There’s only one reason he agreed to be in the wedding….girls!
Don Cannelloni
Don Cannelloni is Maria’s Godfather and a very generous man. He has fourteen Goddaughters but Maria is his favourite, so a $14,000 wedding gift comes as no surprise. He paid for everyone’s airfare to Australia for the wedding.
Rocco Rotini (MC)
Rocco has always wanted to be a Las Vegas entertainer, but so far, has had to settle for being a wedding singer. He recently purchased the wedding venue and the entire family has agreed to come out to Australia to hold the wedding, to support Rocco and his new venture.
